Description
Just steps from the Elysée Palace, a permanent showroom for the interior design firm Liaigre was created in a 4-storey Haussmann-era building previously occupied by an antiques shop. The showroom consists of two apartments, an art gallery and an office.
The works consisted of a complete refurbishment while maintaining the original construction principles.
The main courtyard and secondary courtyards were redeveloped. Completely new surface coverings and systems were installed.
The standout feature of this project was fitting the interiors with climate control: we installed heating and air-conditioning systems designed to guarantee excellent comfort without any aesthetic impact. Air intake and vents were fitted through slots and grooves integrated into the plaster cornices and in the mouldings of the decorative wood panelling. The hygrometry of the conditioned air is monitored to prevent humidity damage to the plasterwork.
The equipment selected was sized to meet the required functional requirements: 2-Pipe DRV type heat pump (Panasonic ECO i), ductable and variable pressure compact air conditioning units model MM1E5A and model MF2E5A, built-in air conditioning unit model MR1E5.
The project included acoustic insulation of the technical cabinets using Sonatech Pur Skin self-adhesive acoustic foam, to comply with the required sound levels.
The installation includes a “Cloud” management system which offers the following advantages:
- Remote management of one or more workstations
- Easy access via smartphone, tablet or PC
- User-friendly graphical interface making it easy to use
- One-click management function for controlling the various areas
- Real-time notifications
- Complete control of energy consumption and operating times
- Performance comparisons between different rooms, to optimize the remote control and programmed management of the systems.
